Finding Blessings in a Cursed Life has touched the lives of many individuals. It allows an individual or group of people to discuss the impacts of trauma in a safe setting. The goal of this series is to promote wellness for people struggling with trauma.
The lecture series is going to expand our audience a bit. We want to reach out to Publc and Private Schools, Post Secondary Learning Colleges and Universities, Non-Profits, Churches, and Organizations that serve a diverse population.
This year, we will have unique offerings. One of the first offerings we are most excited about is for organizations with a large diverse population of employees. This training series will focus on learning about the impact of trauma starting with the science behind our stories and hearing directly from the people that have lived traumatic lives.
We will continue with our lecture series for Teachers, Social Workers, Human Service Majors at colleges. We are not limited to just one group. Many majors have attended our lectures in the past and found them helpful. For example, a Law Enforcement student would benefit from our series because they deal with a highly traumatized population.
Finally, we are offering Arts-Based presentations for local coffee houses and social gathering places. This will be a unique offering to meet the author and have an informal conversation about our series of books.
